citizenM New York Times Square

You need to understand Citizen M hotels in order for them to work for you!!! This is the 3rd or 4th we have stayed in and I think they are brilliant. Yes... The room is SMALL because they prioritise a super king bed size. This is important to me!! They also ensure that all rooms in the hotel have a 'view'. This means that one side of the bed is right up against the giant window (ie you cannot walk around both sides of the bed) - this is never a problem for us. The window is enormous and we had a great view opting for the 'best view at night' check in option. They maximise the under bed storage, a large drawer in which you can fit suitcases, and you get two hanging space cupboards. There is a little fridge which you could fill with your own drinks. I love everything controlled by the iPad, lights, curtains, black out blind and TV, and find the entire set up very easy to use and satisfactory. The shower is in a little pod within the bedroom; it was great, super water pressure and shower gel provided. I always think daily cleaning of hotel rooms is excessive, here they clean every 3 days. For each day you dont have a room clean money is donated to charity. You can of course request a more frequent room clean. I keep my room tidy anyway, so this is not an issue for me. There is no kettle, but tea bags and hot water downstairs readily available. There is no iron in the room, again not a problem for us. We did not mind visiting the ironing station on the 2nd floor. We did not have breakfast included, as visiting New York we always wanted to go somewhere for breakfast! Finally, the staff. Everyone we met downstairs was friendly and helpful.

Great location, friendly staff. Room were comfortable and we loved the ability to control our settings/ check in via the app. We didn’t eat in the hotel as we were out and about a lot but we liked the open plan area on the ground area where you could hang out.

The location was excellent, with easy walking access to Times Square and other related sites. Subway access is only a few steps away. Night time found the room fairly quite with excellent window treatment for sleeping in if you wanted to. We found the room clean and tidy and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well each night. The staff was wonderful, cheerful and seemed excited to help in any way. The shower had excellent water pressure (see what I didn't like) and the room was well lit with the lights on. I do have some negatives about the stay but overall we had a great stay at the citizenM Times Square.

Extraordinary cool Hotel, very friendly and helpfully team, a place where you feel welcome. The location next to Broadway, close to Times Square and Central Park is ideal for discover the city, also the subway is just around. Our room in the 10th floor was very quite. The breakfast with a very good coffee was excellent. Overall one of the best city-hotels I even was Many thanks to the team which made our stay in NYC excellent

The location. Very close to subway and time square. The bar on the 21st floor was a great place to be after a day on the crowded streets.
